Companies looking for cap, overcap, and lid fitting solutions, can get what they are looking for from DEL Packaging. Since the early 1960s, DEL has provided production facilities with the best container finishing machinery available on the market. For this reason, our technology is found in processing plants around the world, including those owned by Kraft, General Mills, Campbell’s Soup, and Procter & Gamble, among many other Fortune 500 companies.
DEL’s cap, overcap and lid technologies can handle any industry standard container out of the box, and can be customized to accommodate unusually shaped or built containers. Our design engineering team is capable of tweaking our existing machinery to provide a custom solution for each job. This process is quick, reliable, and makes the client part of the process so all of their needs are met. Once installed, DEL’s systems are extremely reliable and long lived. In fact, we have sold more than 1,000 systems, with most of them still in operation. While we can refurbish and restore used DEL equipment, they’re rarely available on the market as this machinery is extremely durable.
Along with durability comes precision, and DEL’s cap, overcap, and lid systems will apply a proper cap 99.9 percent of the time. This impressive success rate is the reason DEL has never had a system returned because it didn’t meet the performance guarantee. DEL’s systems have also never been replaced by a competitor’s product because they didn’t meet the performance guarantee. That is a rarity in this industry.
The SRC, SASRC and ASRL-CC are among DEL’s most popular systems, and all are capable of high speed, automated production lines. The SRC is designed for straight wall rigid containers and can work with composite, plastic, or metal containers at heights ranging from 2 to 12 inches. The SASRC is designed for straight wall rigid containers and comes with extensive height and diameter changeover capabilities. The ASRL-CC is for round, square, tapered, rectangular and irregularly shaped containers. It is also compatible with fragile containers. All three systems can handle 400 containers per minute at a minimum, while 600 containers per minute are possible with the SRC and SASCR.
These systems, along with our other lidding technologies, have made DEL one of the most respected names in packaging.
